Setup checklist
- Add your logo, brand color, welcome message, and contact details
- Review customer email automations and designer notifications
- Publish the quiz on your website or share its unique link
- Save your pricing rates and review an estimated quote
- Hide or customize quiz choices that do not fit your business
- Complete a final customer-journey test before promoting the quiz
Step 1
Brand the welcome experience
In the Designer Dashboard, open Settings, then Customization. These settings shape the first and final screens customers see.
- Upload your Company Logo and choose a Quiz Button Color that remains readable against white.
- Write a short Brand Welcome Message. It appears on the first page of the client quiz.
- Add a Booking Link if customers should be able to book from their design review page.
- Check Contact Info (phone, WhatsApp, and email). Any values you provide become contact actions on the quiz end screen.
- Choose the Default Quiz Language, then select Save Settings.
Step 2
Set up customer emails and designer notifications
ShowroomPro separates messages sent to customers from alerts sent to your team. Review both before launch.
Customer Emails
These are branded, automated messages sent to the customer. The Design Completed Email sends after an AI design is generated and after your configured delay. The Abandoned Quiz Recovery Email sends 24 hours after someone starts but does not finish.
Email Notifications
These alerts go to the designer or configured recipients, not the customer. Use them to learn about new leads, approvals, and other customer activity.
- Go to Settings → Customer Emails, turn on automated customer emails if your plan supports them, and enable the templates you want.
- Review each subject and body. Keep the provided personalization tokens intact, especially the design and unsubscribe links.
- Set the design-completed delay to at least one minute, then save.
- Go to Settings → Email Notifications, confirm the recipient addresses and choose which designer alerts should be active.
Step 3
Publish the quiz or share its link
Open Settings → Embed to copy account-specific code safely. This public guide intentionally does not display a customer token or reusable embed snippet.
General websites
In the General tab, choose the popup-button approach or inline iframe shown in your dashboard. Copy the complete snippet there and paste it into your website’s HTML or custom-code area. Add your website domain to the allowed domains list when prompted.
Shopify
In the Shopify tab, follow the dashboard steps for your preferred layout: install the script in theme code and connect a native button to #ringbuilder-quiz, add a Custom Liquid block, or use the supplied inline option. Copy the script from your own Embed screen so it includes your quiz token.
Squarespace
In the Squarespace tab, place your account script in Settings → Advanced → Code Injection. Then use a Button Block linked to #ringbuilder-quiz. For an inline quiz, use a Code Block and copy the iframe shown in your dashboard.
Share without embedding
Use Copy Quiz Link in the Designer Dashboard to share the unique quiz URL by email, text, social bio, QR code, or direct message. Never remove or replace the token in that copied URL.
Step 4
Configure pricing rates and automatic estimates
Go to Settings → Pricing Rates. These values create an internal estimate on generated design cards; customers do not see it in the quiz or approval screen.
- Set your Markup %. It is applied to the materials-and-labor subtotal to calculate the estimated selling price.
- Review the major rate groups: metal pricing, natural and lab-grown diamonds, colored gemstones, setting styles, labor, and finishing touches. Save rates that reflect your normal costs.
- For metals, choose Live to use gold or platinum spot prices (with the relevant gold purity), or Manual to use your own per-gram rate.
- Check the Live Spot Prices timestamp and Live/Stale status. Refresh when needed, then save your rates.
- Generate a test design and review the estimate on its dashboard design card before preparing the customer’s actual quote.
Important: automatic quotes are estimates. Final pricing can vary with stone availability and quality, exact dimensions and weight, labor, taxes, shipping, and other production details.
Step 5
Tailor Quiz Options
Open Settings → Quiz Options to keep the customer journey aligned with the products and services you actually offer.
- Under AI-Impacting Steps, hide unavailable Stone Types, Stone Shapes, Setting Styles, Metal Types, Band Styles, or Finishing Touches. At least one choice must remain visible in each section.
- Edit and reorder Budget, Timeline, Ring Size, and Band Width options. Keep at least one option in each list.
- Select Save Quiz Options. Changes appear immediately in the customer quiz and hidden AI-impacting choices are excluded from generation.
- Preview the quiz again after every material change so labels, ordering, and available combinations make sense to a customer.
Step 6
Complete the launch checklist
Run one full test before sending traffic to your quiz. Use an address you can access so you can inspect both sides of the experience.
- Open the copied quiz link in a private window and complete it as a customer.
- Confirm the logo, welcome message, button color, language, and end-screen contact actions.
- Check that the design and booking links open the intended pages.
- Verify the expected customer email and the separate designer notification arrive with correct content.
- Open the new lead in the Designer Dashboard and review its preferences, design, estimate, and pipeline stage.
- Test the live website embed on phone and desktop, including close and back behavior.
- Use the Marketing Kit for your QR code, social captions, email signature, and text template.
- Review Settings → Integrations if you plan to connect supported external tools.
